FORMER PICKETT WAR VETERAN PASSES AWAY
Edwin Semrau, a World War veteran and formerly a resident of Pickett, died at the Veterans' hospital at Milwaukee Sunday afternoon at 5 o'clock. He suffered an injury in a fall while out for a walk Sunday, Feb. 11, and had not recovered.
Mr. Semrau was born at Pickett, March 14, 1877.
He is survived by his wife; two brothers, Emil and August Semrau, Pickett; and four sisters, Mrs. Edward Kumbier, Pickett; Mrs. Ida Krueger, Milwaukee; and Mrs. Ada Hansen and Mrs. Millie Hime, of Oshkosh.Military funeral services were to be held this afternoon at the veterans' hospital at Milwaukee
