ROBBINS, JONATHAN 20 Sep 1974
Jonathan Robbins, 90, of Oneida, passed away at his home Friday after a lengthy illness. He was the son of the late Michael Robbins and the late Arlena Sexton Robbins, a member of the Low Gap Baptist Church, a veteran of the Spanish American War of 1898. Survivors: wife, Julia Sexton Robbins of Oneida; five daughters, Mattie Walker of Oneida, Frona Walker of Louisville, Ky., May Hardwick of New Castle, Indiana, Ina Randolph of Sparta, Tenn., Florence Basler of Tullahoma, Tenn.; son, John Robbins of Oneida, Tenn.; half sister, Lotena Brown of Wartburg, Tenn.; half brother, Jesse Brown of Sunbright, Tenn.; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services were conducted from the West Funeral Home Chapel 10:30 a.m. Monday with Rev. Roy Blevins and Rev. Kenneth Jeffers officiating. Burial in the Slick Rock Cemetery, Brimstone.
