William F. Lagman, proprietor of Kenner Business Machines, died Thursday of heart failure at Kenner Regional Medical Center. He was 49.

Mr. Lagman was born in Newport, R. I., and lived in Des Allemands for the past 10 years.

He was a sergeant in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was a past president of the New Orleans Airport Rotary Club, a vice president of the Kenner Business Association and a member of the New Orleans Yacht Club.

Survivors his wife, Margie Kinler Lagman; four sons, Tony D. and William A. Lagman and Jeffrey and Keith Werchan; a daughter, Melanie Guillot; his father and step mother, Alfred William and Blanche Lagman; two brothers, Edward and Robert Lagman and a sister, Connie Lagman Howie, and four grandchildren.

A funeral will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at L. A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home, 2607 Williams Blvd., Kenner. Visitation will be Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m. and Monday, from 9 to 11 a.m.

Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park.
