Funeral services for Addie Glea Conatser, 99, of Levelland will be 4 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2008, at First United Methodist Church Levelland, with Rev. Wendell Horn and Rev. Weldon McCormick officiating. Burial will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery under direction of George Price Funeral Home. She died at Hickory House on March 28, 2008. She was under care of VistaCare Hospice.
Glea was born to Frank and Susan Badgett on April 29, 1908 in Grayson County, Texas. She was the first female graduate of Levelland High School in 1926. She married Marvin Conatser on Aug. 14, 1928 in Levelland. He preceded her in death in 1976. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Sue Macon, in 2006.
