HAUGHTON, LA - Idell "Tee" Ivey, 92, passed away on Monday, June 21, 2010 in Shreveport, LA. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at 10:00 am at Hill Crest Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends Tuesday, June 21, 2010 from 5:30 until 7:30 pm. Reverend Billy Pierce will be officiating the services with Reverend Randy Riley assisting.
Tee was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her family was most important in her life. She had no problem dropping everything to help out when someone needed her. She loved gardening and also crocheting.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, E.J. Ivey, her brothers and sisters and her son-in-law Gene Shilling. She is survived by her daughters: Mary Shilling, Sharion "Sally" Johnston, and Annette Lipinski and husband John, sons: Leslie Ivey and wife Penny, Paul Ivey, and Bruce Ivey and wife Linda, 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 2 on the way, and special friend, Brandi Hale.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
