Born April 5, 1948 in Greensburg, he was the son of Charles and Agnes (Peters) Ash, both deceased. He married Soncerria Persons Oct. 13, 1978; she preceded him in death April 25, 2005.
Mr. Ash was a member of the Rushville VFW, American Legion, the Rushville Eagles and the Marine Corps League. He was the owner/operator of the Glenwood Inn, known throughout the area for the "Larry Burger," since 1983. He graduated from New Salem High School in 1966.
Survivors include sons, Shawn M. Ash of Missouri and Jason E. (Autumn) Ash of Glenwood; step sister, Elaine (Tom) Tiernan of Richmond; five grandchildren; one niece, Jenny Martin; and six nephews.
A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
