Jean Arnold, age 74, of Harrison, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2015, at her home. She was born September 10, 1941, in Myrtle, Arkansas, the daughter of Roy and Claudia (Fitchue) Foster. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Floyd Arnold; her son, Dawayne Arnold; her sisters, Evelyne Wright and Shirley Wright; and her brother, Lee Foster.
Jean and Floyd Arnold were married in Mountain Home, Arkansas April 22, 1958, by Oscar McEntire. Jean had been employed by Levi Strauss and Millbrook and was a homemaker.
Jean is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and David Smith of Harrison and Darlene and Charles Emitt of Harrison, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Hanks, Rebecca Youngblood, Roy Emitt, Bridget Criger, Angelina Smith and Bryan Arnold; her great-grandchildren, Jesse Emitt, Adeline Youngblood, Jacob Rand, Savana Richardson, Celia Yongblood, Dixie Emitt, Jaedyn Emitt and Lyla Jo Youngblood; several nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Visitation will be 6-8PM, Friday, November 6, 2015, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.
Graveside funeral service will be 10:00AM, Saturday, November 7, 2015, at Milam Cemetery (Silver Valley Road), with Bro. Carter Pearce officiating.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Arnold, Jesse Emitt, Jacob Rand, Elmer Wright, Charlie Emitt, David Smith and Roy Emitt.
Honorary pallbearers are other family members and friends.
