Howard and Ona Touchatt were long time residents of Creek County. They lived near Shamrock as well as Drumright. They were members of the Drumright First Assembly of God where Ona taught Sunday school classes for many years. Howard worked for the Service Pipeline Company.

Here's Ona's obituary:

Funeral services for Ora Mae Touchatt, Drumright, will be held March 22, 10 a.m. at the Assembly of God Church. The Rev. Marvin Boyles will officiate. Interment will be in the North Drumright Cemetery.

She was born March 29, 1915 at Davenport, Okla. and died March 19 at the Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa. She and her husband, Howard, were married at Shamrock in 1934. In 1968 they moved to Drumright from Shamrock.

Survivors include a daughter Angela Mae Henshaw of Drumright; sisters Beatrice Kimbell of Davenport, Bernice Butcher of Cushing; Velma Cranke of Folsom, California, Edith Jones of Stroud and Ella Fern Stevens of Drumright; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A brother preceded her in death.

Pall bearers were Jack and Delton James, Eddie Mattox, Sterling Stafford, A. W. Shropshire and Orbeau Pitts.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Smith Funeral Home.
