Leona Rose Gandrau

Age 100, former resident of Aurora for 13 years, died Thursday, July 8, 2004 at St. Dominic Hospital, Jackson, MS.

   Funeral services will be in Jackson, with interment next to her husband, Albert Gandrau, in River Hills Memorial Park, Batavia. Graveside service at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, July 13, 2004 with Rev. Steve Miller officiating.

   Mrs. Gandrau was born June 5, 1904 to Eugene and Anna Rhian in Ponoka, Alberta, Canada.

   Mrs. Gandrau was preceded in death by her husband; five brothers; and one sister.

   Survivors are her daughter, Joyce Gandrau spouse Clarence Milton Young of Tyler, TX; son, George E. (Gene) Gandrau of Jackson; two sisters, Margaret Smith of Walnut Creek, CA, and Anna Mae Driscoll of Stevensville, MD; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
