FO. THOMAS HOWARD RENNIE, 21, died on active service June 14, while serving with The Royal Canadian Air Force in Africa. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Roy Rennie of 4029 Oxford avenue, Notre Dame de Grace. FO Rennie was a graduate of West Hill High School, and following two years of science at McGill University, he entered the radiolocation course at McGill in April, 1941. He received his commission as pilot officer and proceeded overseas. A year later he was promoted to flying officer. He served in North Africa for approximately six months.
