Oneida – Harold Lindfield Sr., 62, of 307 Chappell St., died Wednesday in the Oneida City Hospital after a three year illness.

He was born in Cleveland, N.Y. Dec. 8,1901, the son of William and Mary O'Dell Lindfield, and came to Oneida at an early age. He had been employed by the Smith-Lee Co. here until last October.

He is survived by his wife, the former Margaret Chaires; his mother; one son, Harold Jr., Topeka, Kans., a daughter, Connie, at home; two brothers, Wilbur, Waterville, and Leslie Lindfield, New Hartford; two sisters, Mrs. Norma Smith, Utica, and Mrs. Agnes Terry, Chadwicks, and nieces and nephews.
