Kenneth E. Dryzga, 65, of the Silverton Bay section of Toms River Twp., NJ, formerly of Bayonne NJ passed away peacefully on Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011 at Brick Hospital, Brick Twp., NJ. Mr. Dryzga was born to Henry & Mary Dryzga on June 26, 1945. Kenneth proudly served his country in The United States Army during the Vietnam War and received the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal and the Vietnam Combat Medal. Kenneth loved being a Vietnam veteran and was a member of The V.F.W. Post in Bayonne, NJ and the KcKenzie American Legion Post.
Kenneth was predeceased by his mother, Mary Dryzga and his sister, Lorraine Flanagan. He is survived by his 94 year-old father, Henry Dryzga of Bayonne, NJ & St. Petersburg, FL; his loving children, Kerri Scaglione & her husband, Steve of Jackson Twp., NJ, Kenneth R. Dryzga of Jackson Twp., NJ and Amy Greenberger & her husband, Sean of Jackson Twp., NJ; his grandchildren, Britni, Bridget, Steven, Jr., Brylin and Ryan; his sister, Louise Hammack & her husband, Bob of St. Petersburg, FL; his nephews, Bobby, Brian & Patrick; his nieces, Kristine & Jackie and by his former wife, Diane.
Interment with military honors in Holy Name Cemetery, Westside Ave., Jersey City, NJ.
