Delilah married Barlett Davis Dickson in 1925. After he died in 1974, she married Yukichi Berlin Nishiyori in 1978.
Delilah Dickson Nishiyori, 83, of Vashon Island, died Friday.
She was born in Sunshine, Wyoming and had lived in the Tacoma area since 1933.
She was past president of the Relief Society and a member of the First Ward Chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was also director of teaching for the church's Tacoma Stake.
Survivors include three sons, Gwynn Dickson of Puyallup, Bart Dickson of Federal Way and Ned Dickson of Los Banos, California; four daughters, Barta Tolton of Burien, Ola Wilcock, Bernice Jensen and Bessie Tripp, all of Salt Lake City; a sister, Tennessee Packard of Los Angeles; 10 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren. Services are to be conducted at 1pm, Tuesday at the First Ward Chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Interment will be at Mountain View Memorial Park.
