Harold J. Sullivan, 66, of 54 Reynolds St., died Saturday at Baystate Medical Center, Springfield. He retired from the Nova Corp Chemical Co. six years ago and had worked for more than 30 years at Monsanto Chemical in Springfield. Born in Huntington, he had lived here for more than 32 years. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Nova Corp Pistol Club, and the Ludlow Fish and Game Club. He leaves his mother, Irene M. (Gareau) Sullivan of Warren; his wife, the former Joan E. Rogers; three sons, Richard Rogers of Brimfield, William Sullivan of Chicopee and Robert Sullivan of Ludlow; three daughters, Linda Shields of Three Rivers, Tina Plasse of Warren and Mary Sullivan of Chicopee; two brothers, Robert of Springfield and William of Westfield; four sisters, Margaret Sullivan of Palmer, Joan Rich of Pittsfield, Gloria Miller of Russell and Betty Sullivan of Westfield; and eight grandchildren. The funeral will be Tuesday evening at Ludlow Funeral Home. A private burial service will be held in Island Pond Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday afternoon and evening.
