Muriel Lou Dowell 1928 - 2011 Born June 19, 1928 in Salmon, Idaho. Passed away August 30, 2011 at Logan Regional Hospital of Natural Causes.
She lived her younger years in Atlanta, Idaho. Her family moved to Nampa, Idaho where she grew up. She went to Beauty School in Nampa, where she was helped by Joe and Garrah Meis, who became her lifelong friends. She was an avid bowler for many years.
Married Carl Dowell in 1968 in Cascade, Idaho. They had a jewelry store in Meridian, Idaho-Car Murs for 23 years until Carl passed away in 2007.
She leaves behind two daughters, Garrah Phelps, of Nampa, Idaho and Barbara Hall, of Logan, Utah; five Grandchildren; five Great-Grandchildren; three Great-Great-Grandchildren; a sister, Louise Acree; and brother, Lewis Ormsby, both of Nampa; & Barbara's lifelong friend, who was like a daughter to her, Roberta Mcmillian, of La Pine, Oregon.
She had a great sense of humor and never knew a stranger.

There will be no services. She will be placed with Carl at the Idaho Veteran's Cemetery in Boise, Idaho.
