AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Jeannette Isabelle Bright was born on August 28, 1943 to the late Spencer Gardner, Sr., and Annie Bell Gardner. She attended school in Richmond County. She later went on to pursue a career as a PLN and Master Cosmetologist and retired after 41 years of service. On June 18, 1982 she entered into Holy Matrimony to Clarence Sonny Bright. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Gardner, Sr., a brother, Spencer Gardner, Jr., and three children, Robert Lee Harvey, Jr., Denise Harvey Ravizee and Joanne Isabelle Rucker. She leaves to cherish precious memories to her devoted husband, Clarence Bright; her children, Shireen Ali of Schenectady, NY; Walter Harvey of Sedona, AZ; Donnell (Tena) Harvey, Angela Harvey, devoted son-in-law, Sgt. Major Alex Rucker all of Gallatin, TN; Juanita (Steve) Hoggard and Hermeon (Jeffery) Hill of Augusta, Ga.; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Abraham, North Augusta, SC; Annie Ruth (Henry) Williams, Trenton, SC; Mary (Bernard) Palmer, north Augusta, SC; 17 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Mt. Canaan Baptist Church, Trenton, SC with the Rev. G.L. Brightharp officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
