Mrs. Lucy D.? Curd, one of the oldest of the residents of Burgin, died at the home of Mr. J. H. Stone, Monday, at 3 o'clock. The funeral services were held at the Christian church, Wednesday, by Rev. John Brown, and the remains were interred at Spring Hill cemetery at Harrodsburg.

Mrs. Lucy Curd, relict of N. S. Curd, deceased, died at the home of her son-in-law, Mr. Jack Stone, in Burgin, Monday night, after a lingering illness of cancer of the liver. She leaves a large circle of friends to mourn the loss of a good woman. Burial Wednesday morning.
