HOWE- Mrs. W. H. Keller [nee Rebecca Ethel Jackson], 39 years old, Colbert, Okla., died Tuesday night following an operation for appendicitis at the Durant hospital. She had been ill for about one month. Mr. and Mrs. Keller were former residents of Howe.
Funeral services were held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the Christian church at Van Alstyne conducted by the Rev Fike pastor of the Christian church of Colbert. Fox Undertaking company at Van Alstyne had charge of arrangements.
Surviving the husband, W.H. Keller, and three children, Aline, Robert, and Billy Ray. The following stepchildren also survive: Earl Keller, Farmersville; Elzie and Elro Keller, Colbert, Okla; Harry Keller, Forney; Leo Keller, Mrs. W. T. Judkins, Mrs. Alzie Douglas, Mrs. Abe Green, Mrs. Less Turley and Delbert, Howe
Rebecca Ethel (known as Ethel) was the 2nd wife of William Harvey Keller. They were married ca 1922 in Van Alstyne, Grayson County, Texas. When they married he already was the father of 11 children by his 1st wife. Rebecca Ethel's children are numbered 12-19 below.
