The names of Long, Brown, McNutt, and Boulds were severely illegible. In addition, Brown, McNutt, and Boulds were marked as 68th Indiana and therefore, when re-interred in MNC, could not be reconciled with state records. Their headstones read Brin, Nutt, and Unknown U.S. Soldier.
