ONAGA - Services were today at the Congregational Church here for Mrs. Blanche H. Crum, 81, Onaga, who died here Thursday in a nursing home where she had been a few years. She was born Jan. 28, 1891 at Kalama, Wash. and spent most of here life in the Onaga commumnity. She was a member of the Congregational church at Onaga and Onaga Chapter No. 71, Order of East Star. She also was a member of the Kansas Optometric auxiliary.
She was to Dr. J.D. Crum. He died in 1953. Survivors include 3 daughters, Mrs. Edna Mae Kolterman, Onaga, Mrs. Marge Allen, Chanute, and Mrs. Betty Weinberg, Hiawatha; 2 sons, Dr. Collins Crum, Eureka and J.C. Crum, Onaga; a sister, Mrs. Garnett Sumner, Emporia; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Burial was in Onaga Cemetery. Tessendorf Mortuary at Onaga was in charge of arrangements.
