David Lewis Beck, 82, Frankfort route 1, died at his home at 9:30 p. m. on Friday, following an illness of several years. Born in Carroll county, March 26, 1872, he was the son of Norman and Elvita Trobaugh Beck. On Aug. 12, 1894, he was married to Daisy James, who survives. He was a retired farmer and was a member of the Methodist church.
Surviving besides the widow are a son, Murray, of Lebanon route 5, and a daughter Zatha, at home; three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p. m. on Monday at the L. E. Moore & Son Funeral Home. Burial was in the Rossville cemetery.
