Rites held for Mrs. Schwebach
Mass of the Resurrection for Mrs. Joseph Schwebach (Anna), Dell Rapids, will be held today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Dells. Mrs. Schwebach died Monday.

Monsignor L.F. Swinger will be in charge of the services. Pallbearers will be Virgil Schmidt, John Loiseau, Joe Schwebach, Paul Brown, William Loiseau and Thomas Schwebach. Honorary pallbearers are Emma Merry, Ethel Gregg, Marion Eide, Coletta Ginsbach, Mary Burkard and Martha Geraets. Burial will be at the St. Mary's Cemetery. A Christina Wake service was held last night (Wednesday) at St. Mary's.

Mrs. Schwebach was born Anna Kottmann on January 15, 1898 in Rock Valley, Ia. She grew up near Bancroft, Ia., before moving to a farm near Dells in 1916. She married Joseph Schwebach that same year in Dells, and they moved into town in 1938. He died a year later. She was also preceded in death by a son, Joseph Jr.

Survivors include on son, Urban of Flandreau; six daughters, Mrs. Matt Schmidt, Dell Rapids, Mrs. Alfred Loiseau, Egan; Mrs. Walter Williamson, Chicago, Ill.; Mrs. Mike Hattervig, Madison; Mrs. Ronald Brown, Rapid City; and Mrs. Conrad Hubert of Babylon, Long Island, N.Y. Also surviving are 25 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
