E.R. "Jelly" Palmer of Kinta was born March 11, 1923, in McCurtain to William Hosey and Pearlie (Brown) Palmer and died April 1, 2013, in Stigler at the age of 90.
He owned and operated Palmer Natural Gas Company for 16 years along with his work in ranching and farming.
He is survived by one daughter, one son and wife, one sister, five grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Chester Palmer; and his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 5 at Mallory Chapel in Stigler with Pastor Justin Fitzer officiating. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory of Stigler.
