Mary Sullivan, 92, formerly of Orcuttville Road, Stafford Springs died Tuesday, (January 11, 2005) at her daughter's home in Zephyrhills, FL. She was the widow of the late Melvin E. Sullivan who died in 1983. Mary was born in Yurko Vola, Czechoslovakia, the daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Zovoda) Elkanich. She was a retired sewer for Roosevelt Mills, and a member of St. Edward Parish. Mary is survived by a daughter, Betty A. Sullivan of Zephyrhills, FL; three grandchildren, James Little of Zephyrhills, FL, Colleen Little of St. Petersburg, FL, Michael Wheway of Zephyrhills, FL; four great grandchildren, Matthew, Corina, Dakota, and Jamie; three sisters, Helen Ingraham of Inverness, FL, Elizabeth Heuitson of Stafford Springs, Vilma Parenteau of Enfield; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother, George Elkanich; and a sister, Anna Cheman. A funeral service will be held Friday, January 21, at 10 a.m. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main Street, Stafford Springs. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs. Calling hours are Thursday, 6-8 p.m. and Friday, 9-10 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Gulfside Regional Hospice, 3539 Universal Plaza, New Port Richie, FL 34652.
