Mrs. Georgia Marie Hampton, age 71, of Azle died Thursday, Sept 17, in Fort Worth after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Hampton was a member of the Azle Church of Christ and had lived in the area for her lifetime.
She married John F. Hampton in Springtown in 1932.
Survivors include her son Travis Hampton of Haslet, daughter Helen Grizzle of Azle, 13 grandchildren and 14 great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and one son.
Services were held 2 pm on Saturday, Sept 19 at White's Springtown Chapel. Willard Morrow officiated with Joe Rhoten assisting. Burial was at Springtown Cemetery. White's of Springtown was in charge of all arrangements.
