DAINGERFIELD - Services for Lance Randall Pilgrim, 26, of Daingerfield, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 22, 2007, at South Union Baptist Church, with the Rev. Neal Clark and the Rev. Chad Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Daingerfield Cemetery, under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.
Lance was born August 24, 1980, in Longview, Texas, and he died August 18, 2007, in Daingerfield.
He was a member of South Union Baptist Church and was an Eagle Scout. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in "Operation Iraq Freedom," "Operation Enduring Freedom" and a one-year tour in South Korea.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Frances Pilgrim, and Sam Cupp.
Survivors include his son, Daniel Pilgrim of Daingerfield; parents, Randy and Judy Pilgrim of Daingerfield; sister, Lindsey Pilgrim of Austin; grandmother, Doris Guinn of Daingerfield; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
