Stephen Douglas Wamsley, 25, died unexpectedly Nov. 10, 2009 in Nottingham.
He was born Feb. 29, 1984, in Hagerstown, to David and Patrice Wamsley, and raised in Annapolis. A graduate of UMBC, he worked for Emerge, Inc. He was concurrently taking classes with plans to attain his master's degree to teach high school.
Survivors include his wife, Rachel L. Wamsley; parents, David and Patrice; brother, Sean Wamsley; and sister, Shaina Wamsley.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Loch Raven Presbyterian Church, 9318 Old Harford Road, Parkville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Emerge, Inc, 9180 Rumsey Rd., Columbia, MD 21045 or at emergeinc.org.
