Loving husband of Regina. Devoted father of David, Kenneth (RongRong), Judy (Dennis Manganiello), and Robert (Susan). Beloved grandfather of 8, and 1 great grandchild. He will also be dearly missed by his sister Geraldine Szymanski, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He had served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in Morocco until 1945. He then completed a Bachelor's in Education from MSU, and a Master's degree from Wayne State. He married Regina Novello in July of 1950. He taught Physical Education and Health until 1986.
He was a skilled woodworker, and also enjoyed golfing and sports. He and his wife traveled to Australia, Egypt, Poland, Greece, Korea and Japan. He dearly loved his family. He passed away due to the effects of a stroke. Published in the Detroit Free Press on 10-09-2016.
