He is survived by his daughter Jo Ann (Fred) Cumbie, his son Lloyd (Susan) Bodden, Jr., his daughter Angela (Gary) Hallenbeck and grandsons Christopher Bodden, Kyle Hallenbeck and Kevin Hallenbeck, brother Lindburg and sisters Ethney Swaby and Elsa Franklin and by an extended family that will dearly miss him.
Mr. Bodden served as a ship captain for Suwannee Fruit US Co. and Tatt Shipping Co. and retired as a boatman with St Johns Bar Pilots Association.
Funeral services will be held Monday January 24 at 2 PM at Peace Presbyterian Church, 2300 Southside Blvd, Jacksonville 32216, with internment to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207. Arrangements by Greenlawn Funeral Home.
