A very special person who is missed everyday
Loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and camping.

World War 2 - Army - Veteran

Member of American Legion Post #69

Edilberto (Eddie) Jacquez Trujillo, age 85, beloved and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother was called home to be with the Lord our Savior, Sunday, March 23, 2003, while surrounded by his loving family. Eddie was born in Blanco, NM to the late David and Zenobia Trujillo; he was a resident of Albuquerque; a proud Veteran of the United States Army; and a member of the American Legion Post #69. Eddie enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and camping; but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. Eddie has gone fishing to heavenly waters. Eddie was a very loving, compassionate and giving person, who always made time for everyone; people in general were important to him; he will always be remembered by the great sense of humor he had. We love you, daddy, you will always be in our hearts. Eddie is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Agnes Trujillo of the family home; his children, James Trujillo, Lawrence Trujillo, Carole Vincent and husband, Stephen, Virginia Wall and husband, Ray all of Albuquerque, 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Sam Trujillo, Ruben Trujillo and his wife Bennie; two sisters, Sara Valencia and Estella Martinez, all of Albuquerque; numerous nieces, newphews and other relatives. Eddie will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those who knew and loved him. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the Crossroads Hospice Group for their special care for our beloved Eddie. Visitations will be held Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary; where Evening Services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday morning at 11:00 a.m. also in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.
