Stella King Hill, age 84, died Saturday, September 28, 1991 in Olympia, Washington.
She was born April 14, 1907 in Raymond, Alberta, Canada, daughter of Louis Debenham and Elizabeth Eames King. She married Owen Hill November 1927; he died January 7, 1975. Her children were all born in Utah and she spent her happiest years in Provo. She was an extremely unselfish woman gifted in singing and playing the piano. She shared her talents with many of the unfortunate in several charities. She was employed by Sears, Roebuck & Company for over 20 years where she was the first woman display manager in the Northwest Region.
She is survived by her sons, James K. Hill and L. Douglas Hill; daughter, Shirlene Hill; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; brothers, Harold King and Shirley King; sisters, Necia Mullet; LaVonne Wing; Melba Mehew.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday October 3, 1991, 11 a.m. in the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, where friends may call one hour prior to the services. Interment, Elsinore City Cemetery. The Deseret News, October 1, 1991
