Rhonda June Cuch, age 40, of Vernal, passed away Jan. 27, 2015, at her home.

She was born June 5, 1974, in Roosevelt, to Ron Cuch, Sr., and Henrietta “Bonnie” June Big Boy Cuch. She attended and graduated from Union High School in 1992. She also attended Uintah Basin Applied Technology College and earned a Business Management Certificate.

Rhonda worked at the Ute Tribe as an administrative assistant, the Ute Bulletin, and Uintah River Technologies. She enjoyed music, dancing, traveling and making new friends. She was very athletic playing softball and volleyball, and would always look for opportunities to dress-up.

Her family was her life and she loved being with her children and granddaughter.

Rhonda is survived by her children, Jaclyn Redfoot (Renesto Sowsonicut), Kayla Redfoot, Angelika Redfoot, all of Randlett; granddaughter, Lynlee Sowsonicut; the father-of-her-children, Jack Redfoot, Jr.; mother, Henrietta “Bonnie” Hardinger, Vernal; father, Ron Cuch, Sunshine Acres; grandmother, Melba Appawora; brothers and sisters, Marvella Cuch (Gordon Howell), Vernal; Robert “Bobby” (Lona) Johnson, Ft. Duchesne; Aldric “Bo” Cuch, Jr., Sunshine Acres; Aldrica “Ali” (Heber) Darger, Roy; nieces and nephews, Monte Cuch, Allura Taveapont, Dontre Taveapont, Justina, Mariah, Charlesia Johnson; Oderic and Chante Skuya Darger.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Delia and Henry Big Boy; Margaret and Vincent Cuch; great-grandparents, Ruby Accawanna, Jim Wash, Henry Big Boy Sr.; Julie Big Boy; Johnson and Lonnie Brown Thunder and Jasper and Rebecca Cuch.

Funeral services were held Jan. 30 at St. Helen’s Catholic Church in Roosevelt. She was taken to Ron Cuch’s home located in Sunshine Acres on Thursday at 4 p.m.

Burial was in the Ft. Duchesne Cemetery under direction of the Hullinger Mortuary. Condolences may be shared at www.hullingermortuary.com.
