Marie was diagnosed with heart disease at age 9. She had a heart transplant at age 17 but continued in school and graduated from Park Hill High 1999. She also attended Longview Community College her first year out of high school where she learned school could be fun. Then in 2002 her donor heart rejected at age 21. She was a sweet, caring aunt to her nieces and nephews; funny, loving sister; precious daughter. We miss her every day :(

HER BODY IS GONE;
BUT HER SPIRIT WILL NEVER DIE.

"Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day - unseen, unheard, but always near - Still loved, still missed and very dear." - Author unknown

Our hearts are sad and lonely,
And our grief too deep to tell,
But time will come to us soon
That we may with her dwell;
We did not want to part with her,
But God knew what was best;
Some day we hope to meet again
In that sweet land of rest. - Author unkown
