York Dispatch, The (PA) - Friday, January 4, 2002

Donald E. Eisenhart of Wintergreen, Va., formerly of Alexandria, Va., and Pennsylvania, died Jan. 2 at the University of Virginia Hospital. He was 75.

Mr. Eisenhart retired from the Food and Drug Administration, where he received numerous commendations for outstanding service. He previously worked for the U.S. Air Force, Middletown, Dauphin County, in the data processing department.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, having served in the Pacific.

He was a graduate of William Penn Senior High School.

He was born in York.

He leaves his wife of 52 years, Helen Adams Eisenhart; two daughters, Roxy Chitlik of Alexandria, Va., and Jeanette Kline of York; and four grandchildren.

There is no viewing. A memorial service is at 11 a.m. Jan. 12 at Rockfish Presbyterian Church, Nellysford, Va., with the Rev. David M. Cameron officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Lung Association of Virginia, 9221 Forest Hill Ave., Richmond, Va. 23235; or to Arthritis Foundation Virginia Chapter, 3805 Cutshaw Ave., Suite 200, Richmond, Va. 23230.
