Services for Birtus Walker, 82, of Beaumont, will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Kelley-Hixson Funeral Home in Beaumont. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Huntington Cemetery, Huntington. Rev. R. W. King will officiate.

Mrs. Walker died Friday in a Beaumont hospital after an illness. She was a native of Crockett and had formerly resided in Lufkin. She had lived in Beaumont 40 years.

Survivors: sons, George of Beaumont and Joseph Jr. of Lufkin; daughters, Oma Bonner, Elma Gibson and Wanda Ragsdale, all of Beaumont, Nell Haygood of Lufkin, Leona Green of Tyler and Ossie Boyd of Pt. Neches; sister, Annie Mae Renda of Lufkin; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
