Company B "Tom Green Rifles" of Travis County, 4th Texas Infantry, Texas Brigade, Dumfries, VA Division, 2nd Corps, Dept of Northern Virginia, C.S.A.

Enlisted for the duration of the war 7/11/1861 at Camp Clark, he was mustered into "B" Co. TX 4th Infantry as a Private.
Present Sept & Oct 1861 Roll.
Died in Richmond hospital of a spider bite.

The 4th Texas Infantry "Hell Roaring 4th" was organized September 30, 1861 in Richmond, Virginia.
