On Easter Sunday, 2007, three soldiers were killed in a single incident in Iraq. On September 13, 2007, a single casket containing some of their mingled remains was buried at Arlington National Cemetery. They were SSGT Harrison Brown, Sgt. Todd A. Singleton, and PFC David N. Simmons. Each of these men also have some remains buried in other cemeteries. Harrison is also buried in his native Alabama at Mobile National Cemetery: Harrison.
He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 69th Armor Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Benning, Ga.
Harrison was the husband of Delisha Brown, with whom he had three children. His parents were Chris Ann Brown and the late Johnnie Brown of Pritchard, Alabama.
