A Mississippi native he was the son of the late Dorsey and Nannie Maud Allen Crockett. He was retired from the civil services and was an 1st Lieutenant in the U.S. Army during World War II. Survivors include his wife, Ann (Abernathy) Crockett of Pulaski; son Creighton Crockett of Brentwood; stepson Raymond Patterson of Pulaski; daughters, Emily Zaharopoulos of Crystal Beach, Texas, and Dale Roussin of North Carolina; step-daughter Patricia Victoria of Frederick, Md.; sister Louise Evans of Waverly; eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and 10 step grandchildren.
