Mr. Lacy Hall was a gentleman, father, friend and precious child of God. The only child of Mr. & Mrs Lucious and Mattie (Brown) Clements, of Philadelphia, PA, he began his adult life with the former Sadie Meades. They had 7 children. "Pop" met the ultimate love of his life, Adeline Sellers in New York City, and leaves two wonderful children to cherish their memories. "Pop" was a humble soul, and he loved and admired his stepfather George Hall who married his mom, and he added the family name "Hall" to his, which he kept until his homegoing. Lacy loved, respected and protected his lady love, Addie until the day of her passing and funeral.

He followed his Addie in death within 24 hours of her burial and was laid to rest on June 29, 2003 with her in the family plot in Eastman. He was a farmer, hunter and friend to all he met. "Pop" would give advice to young people about being thankful for everything, sharing his knowledge of the world, his travels and the values of being a loving husband. He attended Roundtree Island Baptist church and encouraged others to pray and be kind to one another. His family and friends enjoyed his sense of humor, love for life and miss him greatly.

Pop, I will never get over not being able to pull up in your yard and see you come outside to the car, to welcome us in. Ms. Addie cooked for us after we ran over to the Piggly Wiggly. We'd sit on the porch and laugh so many times....

The good times of walking the farm with the hunting dogs, past the chicken coops looking at the pecan trees, in that bright sunlight are never far from my thoughts. I pray to have a love like yours some day!
