Per Wayne County Historical Society, their record of inscriptions by Prof. Eldred of gravestones in the "Old" Honesdale Cemetery on Chapel Street included Elizabeth Parminter "died 27 Oct 1838 at age 58" (should be 68). They had no burial record for her husband, John Parminter, who died 10 years later in 1848. However, they had a record of their grandson Isaac Parminter who died in 1847 and his gravesone was observed in 2004 in this cemetery.
