Glenn had horses and cows. He raised quarter horses and e really enjoyed riding cutting horses. He started showing his stallion, Zero Stormey Star in horse shows and did this for several years.
He was predeceased by his parents, Everett Cobb and Thelma Lee Griggs Cobb, his grandparents, Louisa Phelps and Marion Griggs and Otis Ezekiel and Fairy Benefield Cobb.
He is survived by his son, Criston Glenn Cobb and his wife, Cindy, his only granddaughter who he loved with all his heart, Cassidy Lynn Cobb, all of Newton. He is also survived by one sister, Debbie Cobb Barrow of Newton.
Funeral services were held Saturday, September 25, 2004 at Smith Funeral Home in Newton.
Glenn was buried buriel at Griggs Cemetery in Stringtown, Newton County, Texas.
Pallbearers were Keve Blacksher, Terrell Shaver, John Williams, David Williams, Gene Fomby and Dennis Cobb.
Honorary pallbearers were Jim Phelps, Bobby Fomby and Jim Hudson.
