Frank Lewis Foster served in both WWI and WWII.

Services were held Wednesday Dec. 4 in the Moritz Funeral Home in Montebello, Calif., for Frank Lewis Foster of 7318 Balcom Street, Reseda, Calif., who died Dec 1st from an apparent heart attack.

The Rev. Donald Meyer and the Rev. G.R. Barber, were the officiating ministers. Burial was at the Rose Hills Cemetery in Whittier, California.

Mr. Foster, the only son of Mrs. Mary B. Foster of 128 South Spruce Avenue, Montebello, Calif., and the late Charles Foster, moved with his parents to a farm ten miles southeast of Trenton in the Liberty Chapel vicinity when a small child. He became a christian at the age of 16. He went to California in 1930 and worked for the A&P Grocery company. Later he was employed by the Ralphs Grocery and received his diamond pin from the company in recognition of 25 years of outstanding service with them a year ago and continued working when he retired.

He was a veteran of both World War 1 and 11.

He was married to Wilma Elizabeth Peterson in Feb. 1946.

Survivors in addition to his wife and a daughter, Joy Ann, 13, both of the home, are his mother, Mrs. Mary Foster, and three sisters, Mrs. Kenneth Adams, Mrs. Alberta Clark and Mrs. Alice Watson, all of Montebello, Calif.
