Genevieve B. “Angie” (Zwolinski) Ball passed away at Life Care Center of Stoneham on January 20th at the age of 86. Angie was born and raised in Winchester NH and has been a resident of Melrose for over 60 years. She was a homemaker, enjoyed cooking, gardening & crafts and was a longtime member of The Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Wakefield. Angie was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was the beloved wife of the late John J. Ball. Loving mother of Karen A. Herrick & her husband Nick of Melrose and John J. “Jay” Ball Jr. & his wife Carol of Randolph. Devoted grandmother of Peter T. & John J. Ball III. Sister of the late Stephen, Frank, James, Chester Zwolinski, Mary Zack, Sylvia Bukoski and Madeline Bombay. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Wed. Jan. 26th at 8:00AM. Funeral Mass in The Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St. Wakefield, at 9:00AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 PM. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery Melrose. Memorial contributions may be made in Angie’s memory to Alzheimer’s Association, 36 Cameron Ave. Cambridge MA 02140.
