Buryl Barton peacefully joined his wife Jennie on May 2, 2014 surrounded by loved ones. Born in Texas, Buryl grew up in the Santa Clara Valley. He graduated from Lincoln High and served honorably in the U.S. Army. He was a successful real estate agent and broker and was passionate about politics. He enjoyed both golf and chess. Buryl will be remembered for his welcoming smile, sharp wit, and hearty laugh. He was a true gentleman. The family would like to give special thanks to granddaughter Jennifer and Kaiser Hospice for their love, compassion, help and support. He is survived by his children Denice, Deborah and Steven. In addition Mr. Barton leaves behind seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. He will be deeply missed. A celebration of his life will be held at Campbell United Church of Christ 400 W. Campbell Ave, Campbell, CA on Sat. May 24 at 2:00 pm. Reception immediately following.
