Mary Buck was the daughter of Frederick Buck and Tabitha Buck. She was born at Fishing Creek, NJ. She had at least 2 sisters, Margaret born in 1800 and Hannah in 1809 and a brother Isaac born in 1802. She married Uriah Hand Cresse. He died in 1870 and she lived twenty years after. She then resided with her only daughter (Elizabeth) and son-in-law, the Mr and Mrs William Harris. She was the mother of seven children. At the time of her death she had been an invalid for more or less 50 years. She was a member of the Brick church for 66 years.
