Dr. A. H. CONSON
More than 12 years ago, ill health overtook Dr. A. H. CONSON of Gainesville and during that long period, he has been more or less an invalid. Death came Friday evening and, thus, another pioneer citizen has gone to his reward.
During his active days, Dr. Conson was one of the leading physicians of north Texas, enjoyed a lucrative practice. In 1878, Dr. Conson was married to Miss ELIZABETH STONE, who was born and reared in Sivells Bend community of Cooke County. Besides his wife, one daughter survives, Mrs. R. J. TIMMIS of Gainesville. Dr. Conson was 72 years old.
Funeral services will be held from the home on Church St., Sunday afternoon, Rev. E. V. COLE officiating. G. J. Carroll has charge. Active pallbearers: Doctors A. C. SCOTT of Temple, C. R. JOHNSON, W. J. PRICE, R. S. WILSON, D. M. HIGGINS, and J. L. GRIFFIN.
