Funeral services were held Friday, December 19, 2003 at 1 P.M. in Our Lady of the Secred Heart Church for Joseph Michael McDowell, 19, of Church Point.
Joseph died in an automobile accident on Wednesday, December 14, 2003 at 4:30 P.M. on I-10 near Jennings.
Burial was in Bienvenue Cemetery on Hwy 35 under the direction of Guildry Funeral Home of Church Point.
He is preceded in death by his parental grandmother Louise (Crockett) McDowell.
Survivors include his father, Danny Ray McDowell of Columbia, LA; his mother Reva Fontenot of Church Point;
a brother, Jeremy Bellinger of Chama, New Mexico and two sisters, Jessica Clouatre of Church Point and Hallie Lyons of Jennings; parental grandparent Gerald McDowell; maternal grandparents Sue Williams of Winnsboro, LA and L.J. Clouatre of New Orleans, LA.
