Mrs. Baker was a member of Cornerstone Community Church and former member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church for fifty years. Shirley was a volunteer for The City Mission at Laura's Home. She was a registered nurse for thirty seven years working at U. H. Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital, the Cleveland Clinic and retired in 1992 from A. M. McGregor Home.
Shirley's memorial service was Monday, January 19, 2015 at Cornerstone Community Church, 1400 Lander Rd., Mayfield Hts., Ohio. Private family interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, OH.
