A native of Canton, Mr. Davis resided in Massillon for 20 years. He retired as a Massillon City fireman in 1970 because of disability, following 19 years of service. He was a member of the St. John's United Church of Christ and the Junior Order of the United American Mechanics of North Industry.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Nancy Davis; two sons, Wilbur Davis Jr. of Youngstown and Kenneth Davis, at home and two stepsons, David and Danny Princehorn, both at home.
The funeral will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Gordon-Shaidnagle-Hollinger funeral Home. The Rev. Robert Gamber, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be made in East Liberty Cemetery in Summit-County.
Friends may call at the funeral home this evening from 7-9.
