Constance R. Schemkes, 75, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away April 2, 2013 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born March 2, 1938 in Missouri and was a resident of Las Vegas since 1994. Connie was a strong woman in her faith, and centered her life around her family. Spending time with her grandchildren was her greatest joy. She enjoyed painting, reading, gardening, old movies, baking, taking road trips, and was an art and nature enthusiast. Connie is survived by her husband of 58 years; Raymond; her children: Raymond, Walter, Randy (Robin), Tracy (Craig), Candy, Mike, Tom (Ruby), Matt (Elena) and Victoria (Glade); 26 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. There will be a private memorial mass at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
